eBay is a general marketplace; Poshmark is fashion-first. The right one depends on what you sell and how the fees land. This page compares their models, seller cut, and what sells best, with a calculator so you can see your real take-home on each.

Default is eBay’s common ~13.25% final value fee plus a $0.30 per-order fee. Your category, store subscription, and promoted-listing choices change it, so edit the percentage to match your account.
Poshmark takes a flat $2.95 on sales under $15, and 20% on sales of $15 or more. This calculator uses the 20% rate; for a sale under $15, set the percentage to 0 and the fixed fee to 2.95. The buyer pays the shipping label.
Which should you pick?
For clothing, shoes, and accessories aimed at a US fashion audience, Poshmark’s flat 20 percent and prepaid, buyer-paid label make it simple. For everything else, or for higher-value items where you want the widest buyer pool and the Sold filter, eBay’s roughly 13 percent and search reach usually win. Plenty of sellers list fashion on Poshmark and everything else on eBay.
